If used in "moderation", twitter can be easily harnessed via RSS to keep a pulse on specific topics being talked about on the twit-o-sphere - a.k.a., the worlds biggest cocktail party that never ends :P
And don't get me started on the powerful world of hashtags...

right on. I just wonder if we will sort out the value from the clutter [and I do believe there's great value in twitter] before the next bright shiny social networking tool comes along to take its place.
